it's the most wonderful time of the year. it's the most wonderful time of the year. i usually just repeat this to myself over and over again as we're getting our family pictures taken.
but then...when i receive the family pictures and start browsing all the holiday card possibilities i'm like -
IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!
not only am i actually in some of the pictures with my farmer and my three best gals (mom problems), but it's my chance to share with our nearest and dearest how the girls have grown over the last year and...eh-hum...how our family grew this year. hi elli!
so...family pictures were taken and our holiday cards have been selected, ordered and arrived from minted. i know, i know. i sound like a broken record when it comes getting my brag on about one of my most favorite companies. but when you find quality - stick with it.
i'm absolutely in love with our holiday cards every year - the paper is thick, the designs you get to choose from are just beautiful (and designed by independent artists), and from the time i clicked order, my cards arrived in three days. no joke.
(insider scoop - you can get 20% off your holiday card order of $150+ with the code BRIGHT17 through december 11th.)
that's not an insider scoop. it just says that right at the top of the minted site.
so yes. i have our cards ordered and now comes the hard part. getting them all addressed. i lie. that's the easy part! minted has this beautiful thing called the address assistant. a few years ago i plugged all our addresses in there (and now i just add to it) and all the addresses are printed (for free) and the cards arrived ready to be stuffed, stamped, and mailed. such a snap.
thank you minted. lawd knows i don't have time to write 250 addresses out. no.
friends...is it time for me to stop oohing and ahing about my love affair with minted. did things just get weird? okay - but just one more thing. minted really does the very best job when it comes to paper goods. i've used them for home decor, birthday parties, baby showers, and our holiday cards for years now and never once have they disappointed. in fact...they just keep getting better. (see my original post here.)
this year i stepped away from the gold foil and went with a sweet, delicate branch design (found here) for our christmas card and it's just so gorgeous. it matches our picture perfectly...and aside from sawyer looking off into space (huh?)...i'm so pleased with how it turned out.
the other detail i love is that you can add more pictures to the back - which i did...because it gave me that much more opportunity to brag on my beautiful family. but...you can add other backers such as a note or family update or even just a pre-designed look.
if you haven't ordered your holiday cards yet - give minted a go! they also have a wonderful selection of new year cards. that way everybody will think you planned it that way...right? right.
not in the market for a holiday card - have a look at their other goodies - stockings, holiday decor, and customizable gifts! the list goes on and on.
happiest holidays!
